Codex is a decentralized storage protocol ensuring strong data durability guarantees. It is part of the broader Logos ecosystem, housed under the Institute of Free Technology (IFT) — the portfolio company Status created to bundle Waku (private messaging), Codex (private storage, originally called Dagger), and Nomos (private consensus and execution).
I was the first Logos Program Manager (April 2021 – June 2025). I started on Nomos and switched to Codex around July 2021.
